a christian dilemma

for the past couple of days a friend and i have been corresponding about illegal immigration in the united states. as many of you know we have a huge problem with this in our country. we have a lot of worldly issues that conflict with our beliefs as christians, but the only laws that matter are HIS in the end. we have turned so far away from GOD that we can longer think rationally and solve a problem with GOD's laws, but we are basing our decisions on the financial ramifications.

when the united states was formed and the legal documents were written it was all based on GOD's laws. the conflicting part is that the system has become so corrupted with evil that the good is being ignored. for example the drug wars that are going on along the united states/mexico borders. this violence is now carrying over into our country and we have lost site of the individuals that are coming here just to feed and clothe their families. the dilemma with this is they aren't going about it lawfully and we as citizens are paying a huge price for it. i don't think any of us in hearts wants another human to suffer unnecessarily when they are working just as hard as you to support their families. so what do you do? as christians we are to love our neighbors and help them when they are in need, but also as christians we are supposed to obey the law. (matthew 22:34-40)

the big question is; how do we define whom is in need? the world likes to tell us who is in need, so they try to control whom we should be helping. the united states government is one of the biggest culprits of this in the wrong way. as a nation we are very giving individuals, but the bible clearly defines who we should be helping. in my opinion the sole purpose of the government should be to protect us from tyranny (this can be defined in so many ways) and enemies that want to do us harm. that's why the founding fathers based the laws of this country on scripture.

we have to turn back to JESUS CHRIST and what he told us to do and not what man has told us to do. the consequences of not opening your eyes and heart to CHRIST is unlawful. we are headed deeper into a deadly course by turning away from HIM. our judgement will not be in the end from man, but from GOD alone. every action that you take in the world that are not GOD's laws will be confronted before you enter into heaven. i just hope that man realizes before it is too late that we have to return to scripture and lead a christian life. you must accept HIS laws into your hearts and read HIS word to be saved.

i pray we do this.

"now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth is silenced and the whole world held accountable to GOD. therefore no one will be declared righteous in HIS sight by observing the law, rather, through the law we become conscious of sin." romans 3:19-20
