atheism and the theory of evolution

atheism:
1. Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods.
2. The doctrine that there is no God or gods.

darwin's theory of evolution:
A theory of biological evolution developed by Charles Darwin and others, stating that all species of organisms arise and develop through the natural selection of small, inherited variations that increase the individuals ability to compete, survive, and reproduce. Also called Darwinian theory

atheism and darwin's theory of evolution are beliefs that exist in our world that i really just don't get. even before i accepted CHRIST into my heart and started my journey into faith i knew GOD existed. personally, i think that individuals say they don't believe in GOD, because then they would have to face their own sins and be held accountable for them. the theory of evolution is just ridiculous in my opinion. of course man has evolved, but not because of darwin's theory.

here's some questions to those that don't believe HE exists. do you believe that you shouldn't commit murder? do you believe that you shouldn't lie? do you believe that you shouldn't be unfaithful to your spouse? do you believe that you shouldn't steal? if you believe that you shouldn't do these things then you believe in four of the ten commandments of GOD. so, i guess you do believe in GOD. (exodus 20)

i hate to say it, but most of us have broken a commandment or two; i know i have. i broke one while i was writing this. for those of you that pretend to not believe in GOD, or say that you don't believe in GOD, then you should know that you have a pretty good chance of NOT getting into heaven. I dare you to read the BIBLE. the TRUTH will set you free.

all i can say about evolution is that of course we are going to evolve over time. GOD gives us a brain to use and seek wisdom. with each new step we take in solving a problem, or figuring out how something works we have evolved. each time we create (i should say each time HE gives us) something new we have evolved. all you have to do is read about the history of the world. i have no doubt that charles darwin was an intelligent man, but if he had just believed in scripture then maybe he would have saved himself a lot of work regarding his theory.

"do not think that i have come to abolish the LAW or the prophets; i have not come to abolish but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the LAW until everything is accomplished. anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. for I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the pharisees and the teachers of the LAW, you will certainly not enter the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN." matthew 5:17-20
